About Us

Values SOW is characterized by and operates based on the following:

1.A radical commitment to the Word of God

We will do whatever it takes and breach any barrier (political, religious, traditional, financial,
bureaucratic, denominational, etc.) to make God's Word available to those who need it.

2.A commitment to the sovereignty of God and prayer

We believe that the Word of God is also the "work of God." It is His sovereign plan to
make it available to everyone and in every language. We also believe and will be
respective of His timing, His resources, and His will. Therefore we will bathe our
decisions in prayer and move forward in an attitude of humility and complete submission.

3.A commitment to discipleship and church planting

We believe the mandate given by Jesus to "make disciples" to be the motivation and
outcome of every activity in which we are engaged. We believe that cooperation with,
and obedience to, His plan will result in the establishment of self-replicating churches.

4.A priority for the unengaged and unreached
peoples of the world

We will do whatever it takes and breach any barrier (political, religious, traditional, financial,
bureaucratic, denominational, etc.) to make God's Word available to those who need it.

5.The development of "Receptor oriented"
communication and incarnational strategies

Every effort will be made to develop materials and disseminate information in a manner that is respective of and adaptive to, in
both form and function, those with whom we are communicating. It is strategically expedient to plant the "seeds of faith" in as
culturally relevant means as possible by individuals who are as culturally analogous as possible.

6.A commitment to serving and empowering the church and local believers

We will work through local believers and local church leadership as partners and facilitators rather than as leaders and overseers. We believe that the work of translation, publishing and distribution of the Scriptures is the responsibility of the church and there are significant advantages when these tasks are accomplished and administered by local leadership.

7.A commitment to innovative excellence

Excellence is achieved by being both effective (doing the right things) and efficient
(doing things right). We will pursue excellence in order to provide the best possible product in the least amount of time and within an atmosphere of innovation and creativity.

8.A commitment to integrity and accountability

We will follow the highest ethical standards and quality control on every level within the organization and at each stage of proposed projects.
We will achieve this through a process of clear direction, appropriate and regular feedback and within an environment of encouragement.

9.A Kingdom perspective

It's not about us. It's about God. We will do everything from the vantage point of His rule and sovereignty.
We will cast aside our denominational, traditional, personal, and/or cultural preconceptions in order to provide Scriptures that are read with understanding and whose implications are personally applied.
